Homes By Dickerson believes deeply in giving back to our community where we live, work and play.  Homes By Dickerson Cares was created to highlight some of our service projects and organizations that we have contributed too and feel are making a difference in the lives of children. 

In 2011 and into 2012, Homes By Dickerson Cares will be focused on the Miracle Green Home to benefit the Mix 101.5 Radiothon for Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center.   Homes By Dickerson has pledged to raise over $100,000 for Duke Children's Hospital! Together we can make a difference!  We look to achieve this goal with partnerships with all of the incredible people who come together to build this home, as well as, donations from the community.  Homes By Dickerson will also be making a donation with a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this home inGeorge's Grant.   With the projects start in May of 2011, we have already raised $105,000!  So now, the new goal is to see how high we can push this number up!

Thank you to everyone that came to the Miracle Green Home on Tuesday November 29th to benefit Duke Children's! It was a wonderful evening that helped raise an additional $3100 for Duke Children's Hospital.  Noodles & Company provided delicious food, Mix 101.5 played Christmas music,Joel Givens entertained many with his magic and there was something for everyone with over 50 silent auction items to choose from!  Bill & Lynda and Vanna Fox from Mix 101.5 were there and enjoyed talking with everyone and talking about the Radiothon that is approaching in February 2012 and how touching Duke Children's Hospital really is and that it is all to help the children and families treated there.

The River Forest is the name of the Miracle Green Home in George's Grant in North Raleigh on Norwood Road, just off of Six Forks Road.  The Ground breaking took place on May 26th with the wonderful team at Mix 101.5 WRAL FM of Bill & Lynda and Vanna Fox were there to help kick off the event.  With the completion of the home in October of 2011 and a GOLD award in the Parade of Homes, it is time to celebrate the homes completion!
