Sun and warmer weather forecast for Briar Chapel Open House!

Happy Spring everyone! We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, March 21^st, between 12noon and 5pm in Briar Chapel for our Outdoor Living Open House!

Plan to spend a wonderful afternoon in Briar Chapel next Saturday, March 21^st as Homes By Dickerson participates in the “Outdoor Living” themed Open House. There will be lots of activities and refreshments between 12noon and 5pm that you will not want to miss!

Make sure to stop by The Briar Chapel Information Center to receive a map and complimentary Sweetwater Ice ticket, redeemable at our model home (Lot 13) between 12:30 and 3:30pm. We could not attend the award gala, but are grateful to be recognized. Homes by Dickerson wins 4 MAME Awards

The Triangle Sales and Marketing Council of the Homes Builders Association hosted its Annual MAME Awards Friday April12th. MAME stands for Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence. Homes by Dickerson was recognized for several achievements in Sales and Marketing Excellence including-

The theme for this year’s MAME Awards was based around Van Halen’s song “Right Now”! It was a fun filled evening with a Red Carpet entrance and interviews of the best of the best in the Home Building Industry.

HGTV :: Kitchen Island Inspires Design

It was exciting to see Kerri Kanter, one of our homeowners’ kitchens highlighted on HGTV. She speaks about wanting to have an oversized island perfect for enteraining and keeping the functionality of the kitchen with unexpected details. Everything about the home that the Kanters dreamed about and wanted to incoporate into the home was so purposeful. They identified the Acadia plan by Homes by Dickerson and then incorporated and made changes based on their personal taste and how they will be living in the home. They did a great job of incorporating lots of natural light coming into the home and maximizing the views.

New Homes by Dickerson iPad App 1.0 Just Released

Homes by Dickerson is excited to announce that together with Anewgo the first edition of the Homes by Dickerson HomeBuilder iPad App has launched. This app will enable users to have the ability to find and design their home, search floorplans right at their fingertips and even ballpark pricing on some plans.

This FREE download is available at the Apple App store. We have link from the home page of the Homes by Dickerson website, or you can click here. Download HBD App

Users, typically home buyers and REALTORs, will be able to enjoy several features including:
– Search for Homes by Dickerson communities across the Triangle
– Search a catalog of available floorplans that can be built in our current communities, or as part of our Build on Your Lot Program
– See multiple elevation options and be able to change color schemes of the exteriors
– Select structural options to customize the home
– See available home sites in the communities
– Create a brochure with their selections under the “Your Home” option
– Using the built in mortgage calculator, show changes based upon interest rates, down payments and price of the home
– Sharing capability to email or to save to your photo wheel.

This is the very first introduction of our iPad app and there will be several more enhancements and additions to come in the next couple of months. We will continue to add some pictures to the floorplan galleries to see photos of finished homes along with additional social media sharing capabilities. So be sure to check back and use the refresh button on the lower right hand side to have the latest updates at your finger tips!

Summertime Barbecue & Open House

Yesterday was a busy and exciting day for the Homes by Dickerson team. We hosted a Summertime barbeque and open house to celebrate our new office and design center. Several of our neighbors, friends, and associates attended to tour the showroom, network and enjoy in some great food, music and fun.

Thank you to everyone who braved the termolturous heat and thunderstorms to join in on our celebration. JD’s BBQ started cooking the bbq early in the morning and prepared a delicious meal. Allen Smith with SPIN provided great music throughout the event and Lonerider Brewery for serving up thier tasty local brews- Shotgun Betty and Sweet Jose.

Congratulations to our evening’s door prize winners:
– Mary Ann Freeman with Crescent State Bank who recieved a wine gift basket
– Tim Schelfe with Schelfe & Associates who won Homes by Dickerson Tailgating Chairs.
