Less than 3 weeks until the Parade of Homes starts!
The count down to the 2012 Parade of Homes is on and less than 3 weeks away. The Parade of Homes is North Carolina’s largest open house! In the Triangle there will be two Parade of Homes going on at the same time- Wake County and the Durham Orange & Chatham County will have over 200 homes open for viewing the best of the best in new homes. This is a self-guided free tour that is open to the general public.
The kick-off of the Parade of Homes will start on Saturday September 29th. Homes will be open each day from 12pm to 5pm on September 29th, 30th and October 5th thru 7th and 12th thru 14th. Many builders will be onsite in their homes to answer questions about the homes, communities, green features, and design. Even if you are not in the market for a new home, it is a great way to get out and get some great decorating ideas, see the latest color palette’s, light fixtures, design details, green building and more! And who knows, you may just find the right next home for you or realize that you can build the home of your dreams in a great location.
Homes by Dickerson will have 5 homes in these Parade of Homes in the communities of Stonehenge Park, the Hamptons at Umstead, Heritage Overlook, and Briar Chapel. Be sure to stop in and see our homes and enter in our weekend contests to win gift certificate to great local restaurants like the Pit, the Granary in Fearrington Village and Shuckers in Wake Forest!
