Mix 101.5 Radiothon HBD Cares Check Presentation

On February 14th and 15th, 2011, Mix 101.5 hosted their 2 day Radiothon event to raise money for Duke Children’s Hospital.  Over the 2 day period, Bill & Lynda from Mix 101.5 interviewed families and children who have been treated at Duke Children’s hospital.  It was an emotional couple of days, but in the end a record-breaking fundraising event had taken place! Over $1.2 Million dollars was raised for Duke Children’s over those 2 days! An incredible effort on everyone’s part!

Homes by Dickerson was there on Wednesday, our entire office came out to present the check raised from the Miracle Green Home built in George’s Grant.  It was such a great feeling being able to present a check for $108,000 from all of the donations made to the home.  It was truly a collaborative effort to build a home filled with love, joy and hope.   The other great news was that on the same day that we presented the check to the Mix 101.5 Radiothon we received two offers to purchase the home and it is now under contract to close soon.   Congratulations to the soon to be new owners of this beautiful home!

A licensed Realtor®/broker, she started her career selling new homes in Heritage, Wake Forest, representing Homes By Dickerson. She developed a passion for their quality, aesthetic, and green building features. When Homes By Dickerson launched the Real Estate Company, Jenn was a natural fit to begin marketing and selling their new homes in-house. Her hard work and dedication has been recognized with a Nationals® Gold Award for Building Industry Community Spirit for the Miracle Green Home benefiting Duke Children’s Hospital and a Nationals® Gold Award for National Sales Team of the Year. Jenn serves as the Chair of the Triangle Sales & Marketing Council and she has earned the designations of CGP, CSP and CMP. Jenn was also recognized as Professional Builder Magazine 40 under 40 in 2015. When she’s not working, Jenn loves to spend time with her family, listen to live music and put her toes in the sand. She is also co-founder of local charity Triangle Spokes Group.
