Homes by Dickerson Recognized as Home Innovation 2024 NGBS Green Partner of Excellence

Homes by Dickerson has been named a Home Innovation NGBS Green Partner of Excellence for 2024. Based on the ICC-700 National Green Building Standard® (NGBS), the NGBS Green Certification program has certified more homes than any other national green home certification initiative. With over 650,000 homes now NGBS Green Certified, this achievement is made possible by the ongoing dedication of exceptional builder partners like Homes by Dickerson.

Honorees were recognized across several categories – NGBS Green Verifiers, Single-Family Builders, and Multifamily Builders/Developers. Recognition among this distinguished group reflects the commitment Homes by Dickeson has made to delivering homes that offer increased value, comfort, durability, and energy and water efficiency to consumers.

To earn NGBS Green certification, a home must meet rigorous performance standards across six key categories: Lot & Site Development, Resource Efficiency, Energy Efficiency, Water Efficiency, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Homeowner Education. Each category includes mandatory practices, as well as optional practices tailored to specific markets and buyers. Homes must also meet minimum point thresholds in every category to reach higher certification levels—making NGBS Green the most comprehensive green home certification program in the country.
