A Journey Rooted in Helping People
Virginia’s path to Homes by Dickerson is one filled with purpose and heart. A proud East Carolina University graduate, she earned her degree in Exercise Physiology and began her career working in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab. When the pandemic reshaped her industry, she pivoted to the mortgage world, where she quickly discovered a new passion for real estate and helping people navigate major life transitions.
As a licensed loan officer, Virginia spent over three years guiding clients through the home financing process. She brings that same attention to detail and care to her role at Homes by Dickerson, helping new buyers feel informed and empowered as they start their custom home journey.
A Passion for People
Virginia’s favorite part of the job is the connection she builds with others. “I’m most passionate about making sure people feel seen and their needs are heard,” she shares. “Every homebuyer has their own story, and I love being the person who helps start that next chapter.”
As Online Sales Counselor, Virginia is your first stop in the Homes by Dickerson experience. She’ll help you understand your options, answer your questions, and connect you with the right team members to support your custom home journey.
Life Outside the Office
Virginia was born and raised in Johnston County and has lived in the Raleigh-Clayton area her entire life. She and her husband Brandon were married in the Florida Keys in 2023 and are proud pet parents to two rescue pups, Cali and Houston. The couple recently opened State of Golf NC, an indoor golf simulator and bar in Durham. When they’re not working, you can usually find them exploring new places, enjoying a local brewery, or relaxing outside with their dogs.
Virginia also makes time for fitness, squeezing in early morning group workouts several days a week—a routine that reflects her energy, discipline, and enthusiasm in every part of life.
