It starts in early January.
Conversations begin. Our architect sketches and designers share snippets of inspiration. Project managers consider, eliminate and plan. Sleeves are rolled up as ideas move back and forth and then decisions are made. For more than 9 months those decisions grow, evolve, and take shape…literally. Spring has its fair share of initial challenges and summer brings long, hot hours as deadlines loom and expectations rise. Excitement buzzes around our office around the time that the first leaves begin to fall but not because of cooler temperatures or the change in foliage. Rather, because we are now putting the finishing touches on eight custom homes which will soon be displayed, judged, admired, and adored. Rather, because The 2017 Parade of Homes is almost here.

Most of you are probably familiar with The Parade of Homes. In fact, many of you may have already cleared the first three weekends in October on your calendar to explore, browse, dream, and perhaps even purchase one of these stunning designs. However, for those of you who are new to The Triangle area, you will want to get this annual fall event on your must-do list. Thousands of people will flock to model homes across several counties to view gorgeous, decorated, move-in ready plans. Homes By Dickerson will be one of many builders participating in this industry tradition yet our final results will clearly stand out among the rest.
