Haywood Grand Opening a Sweet, Southern Success!
Homes By Dickerson’s newest jewel grand opened on May 19th to a crowd of Realtors eager to see inviting entrances, quaint streetscapes and elegant custom-built homes. Attendees of the Haywood Grand Opening were definitely not disappointed as they drove up to the white brick and wrought iron monument and were whisked away for an afternoon of delicious food, live music and beautiful plan tours.
Over 100 guests dined on delicious Southern cuisine prepared by Annie Bell’s Catering. While enjoying their ice-cold Jonah crab claws and tangy honey barbecue chicken at their charming farmhouse tables, attendees were surrounded by beautiful floral centerpieces and enjoyed live music by The Yes Team, a San Diego folk and rock band.
The luncheon was completed with an array of fruit-infused beverages and hot peach cobbler. Guests could choose to enjoy the sunshine and walk through the neighborhood or jump on one of our golf carts sponsored by Regions Bank. Two of our custom designs were available to view including The Foxborough Hill and The Underwood. Everyone seemed especially interested in viewing The Underwood floorplan on home site 20 as this particular home was named the Duke Progress Energy house during the 2015 Green Home Tour. Realtors were able to get more information on Homes By Dickerson’s green building efforts from the Home Energy Monitoring System and LED lights to the car charging station in the garage and the HERS Score Rating of a 46!
Before leaving, everyone was able to grab some homemade Southern Jam and entered for the chance to win a VISA gift card!
